APPLICATION NOTE
EZ-TILT- 1000 DEMO SOFTWARE
When using the demo software supplied with the EZ-TILT-1000, please note the following :
Insert the disk into drive A.
1. To run the demo software type at the C-prompt a:\DEMO8
2. Type 1 for COM1, or 2 for COM2.
3. type 7 for 19200 baud rate.
4. for standard demo : select: option 6
then select avaraging and scale options as needed.
Observe the display and numbers for tilt. To stop demo hit space bar.
When using single option for reading X or Y, the data will be stored in the data file data.txt for future use. You may change the number of points to be stored and the name of the file.
WIRE THE CABLE BETWEEN THE BOARD, POWER SUPPLY AND RS-232 CONNECTOR.
A.pin 1 on board is: PIN 3 ON A 25D CONNECTOR IS PIN 2 ON 9D PIN CONNECTOR.
B.pin 2 on board is: PIN 2 ON A 25D CONNECTOR IS PIN 3 ON 9D PIN CONNECTOR.
C.pin 3 on board is: 9-12 Vdc.
D.pin 4 on board is: PIN 7 ON A 25D CONNECTOR IS PIN 5 ON 9D PIN CONNECTOR and is GND.
THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF COMMANDS TO BE USED for the EZ-TILT 1000 ANGLE CONVERSION MODULES WHEN UTILIZING TERMINAL MODE IN WINDOWS OR THROUGH ANY OTHER RS-232 PROGRAM.
